The Royal

Had to pop into town at lunchtime to the Post Office. Had this idea in my head for a while. Just needed an excuse to get away from the desk for a while.

I've never been in The Royal Hotel so I can't give any reviews. The outside is pretty interesting, from a photography point of view at least.

Random Bits and Bobs

- we must learn that the chilli flakes we bought in Oman are very hot. Our spaghetti marinara was on our upper spice threshold, and we like spicy food. It meant I had a good excuse for a bowl of ice cream after though, to cool down
- I spent a while trying to get the sky properly exposed for this shot, then realised I preferred the blown out sky rather than grey clouds!
