Friday 13 July 2012: Rain shelter
An edible umbrella. What more can a bird ask for on a wet day?
The wee waxeyes were really enjoying the soft pears I put out for them - in more ways than one.
(And a happy birthday to my baby sister today)
Oh, and I meant to say that yesterday's abstract was a photo taken through my windscreen in the car wash. The white is the light coming through the bottom and the red and blue is the plastic strips that spin against the car to clean it. I used a slightly slower exposure so that it all blurred - the camera was not moved at all. I thought it was quite cool the way it came out.
