Patrona

By patrona

She came to the village church,
and sat by a pillar stone
An angel watching an urn
Wept over her, carved in stone.

Gorgonised me from head to foot
With a stony British stare

Tennyson "Maud"

She is ugly, ill formed and hunched, she lives in my porch with a nipple in her armpit for suckling familiars. I may use her to clear the algae from the rainwater tank by attaching a hose.
