A concrete love affair

By PhotoIain

Hallo Goodbye....

Ive just upgraded, having received a welcome hand me down!

Yet more of my old tech. I think blipping these articles is a way of archiving them rather than hoarding. As with previous blips on old tech and found objects, I feel that they contain certain memories and indeed this does too...

This phone was there when I travelled New Zealand in 2014, loyally locked to 'Spark NZ' seemingly no matter how remote or extreme the terrain. The object itself a collector of memories in the photo's we take and the tweets we make.

I wonder what future historians will make of these extremely ubiquitous receptacles of memory, themselves a heady collection of rare earth metals made in China!
