Bottoms 1&2

I realised at lunchtime, as I wandered happy as a cloud, that there are an awful lot of bottoms on display at the V&A. I suddenly knew it was my mission to blip different ones each Friday I'm at work.

These first two are attached to an urn made sometime before the year 1724 by Laurent Delvaux. They (for there are four urns) were originally at Anglesey Abbey.

And before Nicktor says it...they are not tea urns...
