Friday 13 July 2012: Spelt wraps with red lentil hummus
Wraps can be bought everywhere, but I read this recipe and realised how easy they are to make at home. All you have to do is mix ten tablespoons of spelt flour with four tablespoons of warm water, make two small balls of the dough, roll them out and bake each wrap in a frying pan for a few minutes. It's so much cheaper than buying wraps at the supermarket, plus I like to know exactly what I'm eating.
For the hummus: boil 80 grams of red lentils for about twenty minutes, drain, mix with two tablespoons tahini, the juice of half a lemon, a clove of garlic, ground cumin, salt and pepper. Then just blend everything (I used a hand blender).
For those who happen to speak Dutch, you can also read the recipe here.
