Saturday 14 July 2012: Wet Weather
I decided I'd had enough of working (from home because it's too cold at work with the heating not on through the holidays), so I headed out for a drive. I knew we'd had a fair bit of rain over the past two days but I didn't realise quite how much.
The East Bank of the Owen has two waterfalls. I blipped the first one here last month. This one is also the barest of clear water trickles in dry weather but with the rain we've had she's running at full spate and is dirty too.
I must have looked pretty odd in the middle of a country road, in the pouring rain, with my tripod and camera dry under my bright rainbow umbrella and me taking the rain full in the face in order to get the right shot. Home and dry now, and about to light the fire and settle in with a book.
