A Day Worth Recording

You recall from yesterday that we're starting the restoration of the 1930 pavilion.  Having stripped the bulk of the tiles John found that the ridge beam had been signed by the builders - rather a nice touch.

There's one further signature that looks like "T Mallstone", and the date "August 1930".

In other news, I've been counting the number of light bulbs in this place. No, I'm not that bored, but planning to make use of a discount offer on LED bulbs as I can no longer just buy any LED bulbs and know they'll fit somewhere here.  The count so far is that we have 187 bulbs, and the replacement to date of incandescent ones with LED ones had reduced the wattage by nigh on 6 KW.
