Thursday 12 July 2012: Welcome to Scotland/England/Scotland!
One of the great things about staying at St Abbs - is you have to go to England to buy the groceries - a 10 mile trip but another country (no passport required).
Spent the day at Paxton House which has breathtaking views of the Tweed (none of which I managed to blip successfully).
Afterwards we visited Chain Bridge - built in 1820 - one side in England and one side in Scotland (No 3 thought this was very amusing!).
Visitors tonight - A, C and A. Lots of chat and an interesting game of 'Articulate' - education is wasted on the young ! Margaret Thatcher was NOT the first American Prime Minister !
