Bleeding Camellias

Where flowers are beginning to push through the bare branches of winter, they sometimes look oddly out of place.  But this Camellia, snapped on our afternoon walk, looked as if it was bleeding to death!  Still very cold here in the far north, but warm in my office where I spent 12 hours poring over data.  There are stories in those numbers somewhere if only I can root them out!
