Trumpet fanfare!!

It's happened! Today the 6th trumpet on the amaryllis opened just as the first one started to fade 11 days after it opened. I managed to get this shot of the full bloom and I am so pleased it gave me a few hours of 6 trumpet gloriousness!
I just had to share it with you!
In the meantime I had coffee with Lesley this morning and lunch with Anna, so a day off for me and most enjoyable.
