Peeling Paint

7.8C and fairly cloudy all morning then brightening with some sunny spells in the afternoon. Zephyr.

It felt like a quiet day after yesterday's outings and meetings.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went for a walk after lunch. Runrig on the Nano (Amazing Things). We went down the road to the shore road then went over the road bridge over the railway to Westhaven beach. The tide was almost fully in. There were waves breaking on the beach today.

We walked along the beach in the direction of Carnoustie then made our way up to the path and walked along the seafront to the golf courses.

We went along by the first tee and the eighteenth green on the Championship course and past the hotel, crossed the road by Simpson's golf shop, then went up to the High Street and came back along to rejoin our usual route up the main road and along to home.

Abstract Thursday. Peeling paint and an old wall supported by ironwork were my basic components today. Lots of layers. Lots of colour changes. The old wall was left pretty much as it was.
