Friday 29 June 2012: Getting Away
What a day, we awoke to the radio news that the trains around the country were in complete disarray after a night of very heavy rain. Our intended journey of a train to Glasgow, and then to Oban was one that was effected. After a fairly tough hour on the phone trying different options, we ended up getting a mini-bus to take us all the way there.
Once there, and when everyone else was sleeping I headed along to the old ruined castle on the edge of town. Thankfully I never took a camera because I got absolutely soaked.
