Long day, but feel better to have got yr 10 parents' eve out of the way last night. Only two pairs of tricky parents - not two shabby! A couple of parents even said that they couldn't imagine how hard my job is and I could've hugged them.
It's sooo nice to have more light in the mornings and evenings. It's even light at 6:20 when I wake up! Unsurprisingly, I can feel my mood picking up, and I'm beginning to remember that life exists outside of the school building and my worthiness (or unworthiness) as a teacher. Phew.
