Decorating all morning, I finally finished the ceiling, painting all the wooden beams with a special stain'blocking primer, twice, treating for woodworm, filling all the woodworm holes ...finishing with a coat of emulsion. Phew. 
It's so much lighter and brighter ... 
Then went for lunch in Union Hall and a stroll around the village in the sunshine.
