Sunday 15 July 2012: Cambodian Buddha

This Cambodian Buddha, which features on a French calendar I have, is inspiring me to make my best effort at meditation to will away my current illness.

I think the original is in the Guimet Museum of Asiatic Art in Paris - I have never been there but would love to visit one day.

Although the original is in stone, I preferred the warmer sepia tones, it reminded me of the warmth emanating from the vintage style buddha featured in journal El Camino.
