Yay....we're in France at last! :))

Early rise and on the ferry by 7.30am. Had forgotten that as we were so late in booking the ferry, we'd had to take a more expensive cabin as that was all that was left!

Was great though as there was a basket of fruit (nectarines and apples) and box of delicious macaroons in the cabin, a complimentary mini bar and breakfast was delivered to us! Alan watched Friends, I fell asleep for a couple of hours then got showered and dressed.

Off the ferry by 4pm and a not too bad journey to the holiday house. Weather was lovely, then it rained. Heavily. Grrrr then the sun shone again. This was taken while the weather was trying to make up its mind. Happier being on this road than the M6!

Holiday house is lovely. Garden is beautiful. Pool looks inviting. Wine is delish.

Relaxation here I come......
