Sunday 15 July 2012: Pet rivalry

There are several potential blips today-

The ten strong crowd huddled together under their umbrellas, singing along to "Money, Money, Money" as a brass ensemble played the Abba hit from the bandstand at Magdalen Green.

Our lunch set out on the terrace under a clear blue sky, a short while later.

Ian equipped with his (repaired) chainsaw, preparing to fell a fir tree in swashbuckling style and stirring worrying memories of 'chainsaw gate' which took place in the garden a few months ago.

A lovely view of the eighteenth at Drumoig bathed in evening sunlight, as Ian, Bow Wow and I watched for Hamish to appear in the distance.

However, I think this picture of Ian being distracted from the Sunday papers is rather homely and the one which my absent offspring will appreciate most.

No animals were harmed during the taking of this shot.
