Out for 2 hours waiting......then the sky burst into life!
Amazing display arcing across the north horizon.
Just brilliant to see and capture.
Posting this at 1.50 am Monday.

        We're staying with my mum just south of Manchester and they were saying there was a chance of seeing them as far south as here, but we looked for a while and didn't see anything. So that's for sharing!

      32. Wow, wow, wow. I seen an alert at 12 last night, and wandered off round the corner to the edge of the golf course (I'm west coast), and gazed northwards. I stood, and contemplated standing until light, but I needed to get something else on, and maybe a chair. I think I need to be more prepared.
