New Orleans

I just realised that in a spaced out jet lagged way I had missed out Saturday 14 July completely.

This is the the view south over the lower half of the Mull of Kintyre. Lower right in the image you see the Beinn an Tuirc wind farm. The beach to the left is Saddel Bay on Kilbrannan Sound and you can see in the distance the sea inlet which is Campbeltown Loch with the town of the same name at its head. Believe it or not, a short distance beyond Campbeltown is a farm called New Orleans.

Incredibly a short time earlier I was looking down on Lake Ontario from the same window. In the time it takes to drive from Roy Bridge to New Orleans an Airbus can travel from Canadian air space to the Mull of Kintyre.
