Gardening on the Edge of Europe

After a busy day working in the garden, I visited my neighbour Dan, who lives in a remote, wild place in a hand built home and grows food and flowers in a garden by the ocean. The garden is protected from the elements by a stone wall, that he also made, he spends his summers at home in Ireland but the winter months will find him in Dali, China or on some travel adventure, often on his bicycle! We shared a bottle of wine and I enjoyed catching up on his latest adventures, one of West Corks many colourful characters!
