Making jam in a frying pan!

... the biggest pan in the house.

I picked the strawberries yesterday and ended up with a carrier bag full. To quote our neighbour on the adjoining allotment, "As I was strimming along the edge near the potatoes I spotted these red things and couldn't decide whether they were pumpkins or strawberries."

So I picked them and Ann's made the jam. I've just had a taste - it's delicious (and it is setting).
