Lorraine

The olympic torch passed nearby today. My friend (and hairdresser!) Karen's sister Lorraine was a torch bearer. That is exciting enough, but when you consider she was a thalidomide child, it becomes even more of a special event.

Lorraine thoroughly enjoyed the experience and was singing and shouting the whole way, at one point doing a 360 degree spin in her wheelchair!
