Lichen

Went for a walk this morning but it was quite chilly and windy and I forgot to take my camera with me. Had a roam around the garden when we got home and as an emergency blip took this shot of the lichen proliferating on the apple tree.I hope this is a good sign although the trees never do much good,probably our ground is too sandy.
