Wednesday 18 July 2012: Pennines
These hills have been the backdrop to my life. When my sister and I were small our parents took us out into them every weekend. Dad worked 6 days a week and had no car so it must have been a effort sometimes. The bus went everywhere in those days. I really missed them when we lived in Knutsford for 4 years as it's on the Cheshire plain and quite flat.
