Forth Bridge Walk

As dear daughter is off to camp this week, I tried really hard to think how I could get our son out of his lair and into the fresh air.

He's lurking in his room like a teenager, and he's only 10!

So today, with a promise of an adventure walk, we set off by bus to South Queensferry from where we would walk across the Forth Road Bridge.

There was plenty going on as the Caribbean Princess cruise liner was docked at Hunter's Quay, so we had fun looking at all the activity on the river.

I had ideas that we'd walk a bit further, but he was having none of it so we hopped on a train to Aberdour and went to the beach for a while.

A very pleasant day out.
