Thursday 19 July 2012: Seeing sights
They were changing the guard at Buckingham Palace, Christopher Robbin went down with Alice.
They were doing it again at 11.30 this morning, and we went down with Bella. She loved it, but we were a little surprised to find the guards playing 'Oh, What a Feeling' from the film Dirty Dancing during the changeover. Very strange indeed.
Later, we went to Harrods and exasperated at the price of fruit and vegetables, got on a red double decker bus and went to spend half of Bella's holiday money on Playmobil babies and the other half on overpriced sweets at Hamley's.
So all in all, a grand day out in the Big Smoke.
