No 1 of 18...

and so the dreaded week of 8 months of training is finally here. The lead up to a marathon is by far the worst 7 days in a calendar year with your brain telling you you're getting ill, you've got an injury, that you'll never be able to make it round despite hundreds upon hundreds of miles completed. It should be a week of relaxation, putting your feed up and enjoying the rest but oh no.. horrific

Equally the horrible carb loading is starting to pick up a little momentum. I never knew it takes 11 minutes to nuke a baked potato in the microwave. I'll never get those 11 minutes back. Ever

Off to Taunton tomorrow. Exciting times
