One Crowded Hour

water hazard

This is a tiny stretch of the Alyangula Creek that moseys through the golf course and ends up trickling into the waters of the Gulf.

Returning from a long walk today through the town and back along the beach, I ended up back at the course where the sandpipers were strolling, bougainvillea blooming and golfers were...well, golfing.
As well as swallowing a wayward hook or sliced ball these innocent waters may also, on very rare occasions, be home to a 'salty' ( a salt water croc).

No pulling of the shoes and socks and salvaging a water shot then!
