Regrettably this portrait represents the an end of an era. The cafe in which this subject works will close soon. My wife often visited this place with the kids, and this is the first (and probably last) time I've asked to take a portrait of her. She's a very chatty and friendly person, and I told my wife I would have been surprised if she had said no to a picture.

I spent most of the day at home, reeling off prints for a client. I didn't have the time to print from the RAW files, and instead used the JPEG files that I had given the client in a CD-ROM. This may be herectical, but for the post processing that I do, the prints came out perfectly fine.
