Slipway at North Kessock. The house over the (Beauly) Firth, is the lock keeper's house for the Caledonian Canal's sea lock at Clachnaharry - the North end of the canal.

Cool, dull and grey day, with mist in places. Mist that didn't shift at all through the day. At least it was clear where I wandered. Cycled into town for some victuals, and hurtled back, as it was darkening before three o'clock.
