Singing in the Rain

Today finally was a reasonable day after almost forty days of rain and drizzle. I thought it might be a nice idea as contrast to portray this sculpture of a mother and two children cycling against the rain. Both the mother as the children have a cracked umbrella in their face. It's ironically called 'Singing in the Rain' and it's made by Frans Kokshoorn from Voorburg. Research told me he also made variations on this theme and they can be found amongst others in The Hague and Temacula in California.

It's a joyful sculpture title, I'll just say... Let the sunshine in!
