Mono Monday - Diamond

After seeing the weather forecast on TV this morning - wintry showers heading south - I decided to get out for a walk early - so by 08:30 we were off!

A couple of opportunities for a 'diamond' blip arose and I chose this one. It is a yellow diamond (made of a metal, possibly aluminium) fixed to the public footpath signpost. I cannot find out if it actually signifies anything! There is another one on the post across the other side of the bridleway - but that has had a close encounter with a hedgecutter and there are some chunks missing!
