Sunny Days

What a difference a bit of sunshine makes!

It was a lovely morning so Gav and I drove to Fradley (near Lichfield) and went for a walk along the canal. Lots of boating activity and friendly people. Although I'm disappointed Rob's footie tournament had to be cancelled it is nice to have a relaxing Saturday.

This evening we're going out for dinner with Gav's sister, her husband and their 3 children...17, 14 and 12 so they fit in well with Lucy and Rob. As they live in Surrey we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. They are staying at Gav's parents for the weekend and then the youngest 2 are staying on for the next fortnight!

Right, off to put the kettle on....may get a deckchair out and sit in the garden for an hour....I could get used to this weather!!!!

Edit....I should perhaps mention that the white blob in the canal on the left is actually a duck that picked the wrong moment to dip his head underwater and not a plastic carrier bag which is what it looks like!!
