Golden-ringed Dragonfly

It has be a beautiful day here. I went down to Ryans Field near Hayle this afternoon. Not too much there but this Golden-ringed Dragonfly ( Cordulegaster boltoni ) was very obliging.

The female wears the Cornish colours of Black and Gold. It is on of the largest dragonflies in the UK at 84mm long.
