Friday 20 July 2012: Love is Bald
I caught this shot at halftime last night as the Wilmington Hammerheads handled the Dayton Dutch Lions 2-0. The match was highlighted by a goal made by Cody Arnoux from 49 yards. The keeper was way off his line and Cody, a Wilmington native who just returned from a stint with Real Salt Lake, let it loose at the frame and the stiff breeze did the rest.
The Hammerheads have yet to be defeated at home. They are currently in 4th place with an 8-6-5 record with 5 games remaining.
