Ben Each

Another great day in the hills.
Today Mr Rat was running a hill race - Stuc a'Chroin via Ben Each. A girl from the running club was also running and she and her boyfriend drove and kindly dropped me off so I could go for a walk. I went up Ben Each by a different route then followed the race route part way to Stuc a'Chroin and then the return route.
Underfoot was a lot of wet and slippery snow, making the rocky bits tricky (running shoes were probably better than boots for some parts) with bog and mud lower down. The weather was mainly bright with some snow showers - as seen in the pic looking west.
A very challenging run, walking was quite tough, so congrats to all the runners and esp Anwen who was 3rd lady.
The extras are a partly frozen lochan on the way up and Mr Rat on the ridge between the 2 summits.
