blue skies and weeds

what a difference a day makes... 

Yesterday about 2 degrees with snow, sleet and rain,  and a power cut in the village and surrounding areas,  leaving us without electricity, heating and hot water... Mum was stoical and supportive as normal, (she has a gas hob) providing much needed flasks of tea, which makes everything seem better... Plus Little un has had a cold this week and has been generally under the weather and a bit grizzly,  so it was a a pretty grim day... then today... Blue Skies,  warm sunshine, playing out doors ... and everything looking bright,  even the weeds in the garden...
