Jack in the Green
We had a lovely relaxed Sunday morning (so nice knowing we still have another day off tomorrow!) This afternoon, we walked down to Greenwich to watch the May Day "Jack in the Green" procession, and managed to catch them coming through Greenwich Park. We were a bit caught out as we spotted them - on the wrong side of a hedge just outside the Maritime Museum, but I liked the blurry hedge-top foreground, so wasn't too bothered. We then followed them to the Rose and Crown pub in Crooms Hill, and listened to a gripping tale from a 'drunken sailor' - you can see a few more photos over on my Facebook page.
