Sunday 22 July 2012: Birthday
Out to lunch to celebrate Lo Jardinièr's birthday at the Auberge du Presbytère, high on the hill above the lake I blipped here. Excellent food and wonderful flavours, all cooked, beautifully presented and served by the young couple who have recently taken over the restaurant. How lucky we are to have such a high-class restaurant within a few kilometres of driving through some of our favourite countryside of vines, olive trees and garrigue! The start of a week of celebrations, with the family arriving on Wednesday, friends from afar on Friday and our party on Saturday.
