Stockbridge Sunday Market

A fine walk down the Water of Leith to Stockbridge today, and a wonderful market today at which we met friends and bought a sackful (or at least a rucksack-full) of goodies for our evening repast.

As usual, when we got home we found that our eyes had been bigger than our stomachs, and we'll have enough for several meals.

There were fine meats, dressed crab, smoked trout, vegetables of the non-standard variety and good bread. Many other things, but these were our choices. The table groaned for our cousin's visit, and everyone had a delicious meal which involved very little cooking. Oh, and did I mention the strawberries, and the raspberries - oooh! So good.
