One Crowded Hour

coral and shells

A's actual 30th today and here we are celebrating on a northern island of the island continent when 30 years ago he was born on Tasmania, about as far south as you can get.

Off for another splendid adventure, traveling to the southern most tip of Groote through open grass lands and pandanus across pink dried pans, through the dunes to yet another secluded beach. Prickly limestone and mangroves overlooking blue waters and sea grass pastures and a very special appearance by a dugong. Super wow!
Super wow also to a turtle popping his head up through the surf and sand islands off the beach with standing room only for pelicans and oyster catchers.
Seabirds were diving, fish were biting and the sand was soft, squeaky white and a beach combers paradise with pretty in pink coral and shells.
