Monday 23 July 2012: Not A Pretty SP

I thought this was the discreetest way to show the gob job as it stands 7 weeks after my operation. You can just see one of the four screws that some of the elastic bands are hooked over, the others are on several blunt (my arse) hooks on my brace. This is all to retrain my muscles to move in a different way and direction and will continue until September. It all feels a bit odd and a bit loose still and I continue to have zero feeling in my bottom lip and lower chin. But there is positive progress every day mostly in how wide I can open my mouth.

Which I must do now - food.
