Still life

With one thing and another this was easier to do today.  I bought a book out of a charity shop a while ago and it was about still life photography in black and white.  It was produced a while ago so all the examples have been taken with film rather than digital cameras, but I just find the pictures in this book incredibly restful to look at.  When I say film most seem to be large format film cameras and they all seem to suggest an atmosphere of calm.
