Fabulous to see this Great Crested Grebe getting off her nest and turning the eggs this afternoon on Lake Ailette. Her mate had come over and was also helping titivate the nest bringing in all those little essentials to make it more comfy. 

The lake is teeming with chicks and wildlife and we even saw a coypu being mobbed by a swan when it got far too near his Signets.

 had been sitting all morning on her clutch of eggs.
