In flower again

Every year I photograph this stunning rhododendron and I make no apologies, it just has to be recorded. It was given to us to mark an important occasion 24 years ago and we treasure it. It is in a very large pot so I am not sure for how many more years it will continue to give us so much pleasure.

Dull damp day today. I feel so sorry for people who have special occasions on a damp Saturday - weddings, fetes, garden parties. But, living in England I suppose we must accept it.
