A quick check of the local shorebirds this morning yielded a couple of hundred, mostly dowitchers, yellowlegs, stilts, and peeps.

This picture is of a Greater Yellowlegs (Tringa melanoleuca) on the left and a Killdeer (Charadrius vociferus) on the right.
