Tuesday 24 July 2012: Brave....
Between the Summer Cabinet Meeting and the Public Meeting in Portree today Ministers met up with two tutors from Highland Activities whose bookings for archery courses are already up threefold as a result of the publicity surrounding the Disney / Pixar film "Brave" , which is released here on 3rd August but which is already topping the box office in the USA. The "Brave effect" is clearly already being seen and many places and businesses will have new opportunities as a result.
The First Minister also met a very young Princess Merida lookalike , who, however, needed a bit of persuasion to be pictured with her bow and arrows!
