Mama's off for more groceries

This batch of sparrow babies look ready to fledge, the parents are working overtime to keep them satisfied.

It's been a busy weekend, T had two good training bike  rides each morning, we went on a great cemetery walk with the Historical Society Director and shopped for wedding attire. T's nephew D is getting married the first Saturday in June. He and his bride, K, to be are taking us out to dinner tonight, a lovely surprise, we adore them.

Kalle might be able to squeeze a few more days with us this week, he was only coming for Tuesday night on a flight from Norway, but it looks like the Viking expedition might keep him in Boston a few days and he'll stay with us. Gregory will come home too. My brother and sister in law are going to Machiasport for Memorial Day weekend, so Greg will tend the family cats and hang out with us and Kalle, yay!

I'm a bit overwhelmed with lots of Garden Club and Historical Society photos to edit. The extra is a Josselyn ancestral gravestone photo( In Memory of John Josselyn) from the cemetery walk yesterday. It was done by a local carver, from Plympton, Massachusetts we learned yesterday on the cemetery walk.

All hand sore from garden work
