X-rated...again

With apologies to my daughter, who has warned me against posting more shots of copulating insects! I couldn't resist photographing these tiny (4mm) Figwort Weevils, Cionus scrophulariae, when I spotted them on a single plant of Figwort today. Every time I managed to focus on one and got the lighting right, there they were...at it! So, I can only report what I find - seriously lusty insects...and comical, looking just like my memories of The Clangers on childrens' TV!
